ZyNg tapes are very proud to introduce you to the sound of THE NOSUNS. Ukulele, Drums & Vocals has never sounded so good.

The Nosuns are brothers Peter and Jimmi, originally fae Aberdeen, separated by thousands of miles, and held together by some tape and the need to keep making music.

"PAWRAWNAW" was recorded and mixed by the brothers Nosun, without the two ever being on the same continent. As with it's predecessor, "The Third Line" (released in 2015), the album sees the band draw on influences such as lo-fi, indie rock, acoustic, electro and bedroom pop.

The band's witty and occasionally dark lyrics, inspired by the weird folk they’ve met, are delivered in The Nosuns´ distinctive vocal style, backed by a stripped back sound which might be described as “ukulele garage rock”!

The 12 track cassette is limited to 42 copies world-wide & is packaged in a special unique design textured black box with black & white artwork. The c60 shell is jet black with black label with white print. Each cassette is individually hand numbered and comes with a free 25mm NOSUNS button badge.

Buy the tape or the download and get 9 extra exclusive bonus tracks; including demos, alternative versions, outtakes and also the very first NOSUNS song ever recorded.

    ** Reviews **

“Professor 200”, like most of the tracks on PAWRAWNAW, is a short, sharp, witty two minutes with a catchy earworm type of vibe… If you like something a tad off the mainstream, check out The Nosuns. “Track of the Day” on Little Indie Blog

The Nosuns return with a new release titled PAWRAWNAW, a collection of tracks loaded with dark immense lyrical poetry… the folky tune Bo Merton is a short story set to a fierce and ferocious ukulele melody.

This band hails from Aberdeen, UK and has a selection of interestingly named songs. This band is refreshingly different from a lot of bands out there and deserves a good listen.

Lo-fi Scottish indie-pop, done exceptionally well by Aberdeen's The Nosuns.

“The Third Line” is a beautiful debut from South Korea's The Nosuns. Dave Candler, Korean Homesick Blues.
The acoustic meets the electronic to form a dynamic that is more than beneficial to the auditory senses. The Nosuns… create sumptuous compositions of stunning beauty.

The duo have released a collection of lo-fi indie infused anthems with an electroacoustic vibe running through the tracks. Interspersed with samples the tracks have a delicate feel to them, with a melodic undercurrent and plenty of harmonies.

lyrics

Sometimes I get so annoyed at you
I punch myself in the face
But when it starts to hurt
I realise it’s too late

I was always behind your back
Talking all kinds of shit
But then you started to get sick
I felt like a wee prick
A little prick

How many words can you remember ?
Drunken words I said last night
How many tears can I remember?
Drunken tears you shed last night

I use you when I’m feeling lonely
Or when I’m a little bit bored
You were never meant to like me
No one’s ever been cold

I can’t help but feel horny
For something I never could get
But nature doesn’t help with the guilt
Only helps with catching it
Trapping it

How many words can you remember?
Drunken words I said last night
How many tears can I remember?
Drunken tears are on my mind
How many words can you remember ?
Drunken words I said last night
How many tears can I remember?
Drunken tears you shed last night

I gave you nothing and you gave me wine
I don’t think I’ll be drinking tonight
